Cue Canvas app icon

Cue Canvas puts an annotation layer over everything on your Mac. You can draw, highlight, magnify a corner of the screen, or dim everything except the part that matters, all without leaving the app you are presenting. Your audience sees the annotations on the shared screen. They never see the toolbar you drew them with.

What Cue Canvas does

Eight tools, two kinds of zoom, a spotlight and a screenshot, all over whatever is already on screen.

Annotate anything

Pen, line, arrow, rectangle, ellipse, highlighter and text, in five colours and three stroke widths. Hold Shift to constrain a shape, or let drawings fade by themselves while you keep talking.

Draw over any app

The overlay sits above whatever you are sharing and never steals focus from it. One keystroke lets your clicks through again so you can keep using the app underneath.

Zoom and spotlight

A magnifier that follows your pointer, full-screen zoom that pans as you move, and a spotlight that dims everything except the area you are talking about.

Show what you're doing

A cursor halo that makes the pointer findable on a shared screen, and an on-screen keystroke display so remote viewers can see the shortcuts you press.

Capture and share

Screenshot the screen with your annotations on it, or drag out just the region you want. Recent captures stay in the menu bar, ready to drag straight into Slack, Teams or an email.

Built for many screens

One overlay per screen, each with its own undo history, so undoing on your laptop never erases a stroke on the projector.

These started as internal tools. If you have a problem that needs software rather than a campaign, we build that too.
